Starting the Data Reviewer service

The Data Reviewer service can be started from the Data Reviewer service controller. When the service is started, the service job is run at the interval set on the Schedule tab on the Configure <service job name> dialog box. Log files are also generated when the service starts, such as the server log.

Steps:

1. Click the Start > Programs > ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10 > GIS Data Reviewer Service Controller.

   The Data Reviewer Service Controller icon appears in the system tray.

2. Right-click the Data Reviewer Service Controller icon in the system tray and click Manage Service.

   The Reviewer Service Control dialog box appears.

3. Click the Start the Service button .

   The service's status changes to Running.

4. Click the Close button .
