080188 : Unable to open segmentation layer

Description

One of geography levels containing segmentation data cannot be open (ex: Block Groups). This error occurs if Segmentation Layer (parameter) cannot be opened. This can beused in any tool used to create a new profile such as Create Profile by Customer Layer.

Solution

Verify that the current user is licensed for Segmentation data at the Block Group level. From within ArcMap or ArcCatalog open up the attribute table for the "Block Groups" thematic layer and see if values are populated in the Tapestry data variable fields. If they are not then the current either is not licensed for Segmentation at the Block Group level or they have not run the proper data license. Consult your customer service representative for more information on your data license.
