080028 : Field with the same name already exists in feature class

Description

Used in 2 functions that add a field to the layer. Desire Lines: occurs if field with the same name as specified Distance Field already exists and Create Customers (Stores) by Existing Data: used iif Store ID Field already exists

Solution

Change the name of the field to one that doesnt already exist in the existing layer.
