Description

The directions could not be generated for the input network analysis layer.

Solution

Make sure all the edge sources in the network dataset have a valid value for the Name field within the Street Name Fields section in the Network Directions properties. If the input network analysis layer is a vehicle routing problem layer, make sure the output shape type property is not set to None.
