000187 : Only supports Geodatabase tables and feature classes

Description

Some operations do not apply to nongeodatabase formats, because only the data model of the geodatabase supports the operation. For instance, Assign Default To Field is only applicable to geodatabase tables and feature classes.

Solution

If the functionality is desired, consider converting the data to a geodatabase format.
