000687 : <value> does not have a feature attribute table

Description

The input does not have a feature attribute table. To confirm whether a coverage does or does not contain a feature attribute table (FAT), right-click the coverage in ArcCatalog and choose Properties. On the Coverage Properties dialog box, the General tab contains information regarding the status of each feature class's FAT.

Solution

Check that the correct feature type is being used. If the correct feature type has not been used, the Build tool can be used to generate a FAT for the feature class.
