00003: Layer's data source is inaccessible
A layer in your map has a broken data link, meaning the map layer's data cannot be displayed.
Solutions
- You can repair broken data links by setting the data source of each map layer to the proper location.
- Alternatively, if you do not need the map layer, remove it from your map.
More information
A data link is the path that identifies the dataset for each map layer. It is specified as part of each layer's properties in ArcMap.
A broken data link means that the layer's data is inaccessible. As map documents are moved, copied, and renamed, data links are frequently broken. But they can be easily repaired.
See Repairing broken data links for more information.
