Using the general label settings to set the unplaced label color

Steps:

1. On the Labeling toolbar, click Labeling > Options.
2. Click the General tab.
3. Click the Color drop-down arrow and click a color.

If you want to use a color that is not on the palette, click More Colors to open the Color Selector. Mix your own color, then click OK.

4. Click OK.
