Starting ArcReader from the command line
Steps:
- Click the Start menu and click Run.
- Type "<cmd>".
- Type "<install_dir\arcreader.exe>". For example, <C:\program files\ArcGIS\Desktop\bin\arcreader.exe>.
The DOS prompt opens.
The command line opens.
For a list of the parameters you can use at the command line, see the table above (under the section About starting ArcReader).

Use quotes if the path to ArcReader.exe contains spaces. For example:
"C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\bin\ArcReader.exe" /loadsettings template.art
