Configuring the schematic diagram template builder
If the schematic builder on which a schematic diagram template is based is fixed at the diagram template creation, configuring the schematic builder properties can be done at any time. Specifying the schematic builder properties is done within Schematic Dataset Editor from the Properties tab related to the diagram template. The configuration is organized around two main steps:
- Edit the schematic builder properties.
-
Configure the schematic builder properties.
These properties are different from one builder to another:
- Learn about configuring the Standard builder properties in details
- Learn about configuring the Network Dataset builder properties in details
- Learn about configuring the XML builder properties in details
Note:The properties for the Standard builder concern diagrams built from GIS features highlighted in a map after a selection or trace operation. For diagram templates based on the Standard builder that are used to generate diagrams entirely built from custom queries, the Standard builder properties have no meaning. In that case, there are other specific configurations to operate on the diagram template itself and on its associated schematic feature classes; they are detailed in the Configuring the Standard builder to build diagrams from custom queries topic.
