Modifying elevation field connectivity

Steps:

1. Open the Network Dataset Properties dialog box.

2. Click the Elevation tab to examine and modify elevation field connectivity.
3. To change the field used to provide elevation data, click under the Field column and click the correct field from the drop-down list.

The only fields that are available in the drop-down list are those with an integer data type because elevation levels are specified by integers. Any integer value is valid; that is, the field you choose can have positive, negative, and zero values.

4. Click OK to close the Network Dataset Properties dialog box.

The network must be rebuilt to reestablish the connectivity, recalculate affected attributes, and update the network elements.

5. In the Catalog window, right-click the network dataset and click Build.
