Step Descriptions

This topic applies to ArcEditor and ArcInfo only.

Workflow Step Description allows you to provide a more descriptive information of the steps that make up your workflows to your users. By using the Step Descriptions tab, you can also provide steps expected to complete steps to allow your users be more productive. For example, the Edit data step could outline the steps expected to be taken to achieve the expected goals.

Steps:

1. Select a job from the List View.
2. Click the Step Descriptions tab.

   The description for the current step will be displayed if a description is already configured.

3. Click the Current Step drop-down arrow to navigate the steps for the selected job.
