Loading a graph

If you want to copy a graph from one map document to another, first save it to a file on disk. That way you can load the graph into another map document and place it as appropriate.

You can load a graph into an ArcGIS document that contains the layer on which the graph is based, with the same data location and data field. If the ArcGIS document does not contain that layer, you will be prompted to determine if you want to add that layer along with the graph to the ArcGIS document. If you select no, neither the graph nor the layer will be added.

  1. Click the ArcMap View menu, point to Graphs, then click Load.
  2. Navigate to the location you want to load the graph from, select it, then click Open.
You can also load a graph from the Graph Manager by clicking the Load button Load.
