Entering known coordinates when georeferencing a CAD dataset

Steps:

1. Right-click the main menu bar and choose Georeferencing on the shortcut menu to add the toolbar.
2. Click the Layer drop-down arrow and choose a CAD feature layer.
3. Click the Add Control Points button .
4. Click a from-point on the CAD dataset.
   Tip:

   Press ESC to remove the link.

5. Right-click to open the shortcut menu.
6. Choose the appropriate dialog box and enter the known values.
7. Click OK to add the control point and complete the link.
8. Click the Georeferencing drop-down arrow, and click Update Georeferencing to update the display and save the transformation data to a .wld file.
