Finding the connected cell area

The Find Connected Cell Area tool locates the area of the connected cells in pixels. If you click the connected cells, the Select Connected Cells dialog box becomes available and appears with the selected cells' spatial information.

Steps:

1. Click the Find Connected Cell Area tool on the ArcScan toolbar.
2. Place your pointer over the connected cells to display the total cell area in a MapTip.
3. Click the connected cells to open the Select Connected Cells dialog box, which is preset with the selected cells' spatial information.
