Removing a globe service

The World Place Labels (ESRI_PlaceLabels_World) globe service included with previous versions of the World Collection was retired from the World Collection 5.0. If you previously used ESRI_PlaceLabels_World and received a data collection upgrade for World Collection 5.0, the instructions below describe how to remove the globe service from your ArcGIS Server.

Steps:

1. Log in to ArcGIS for Server using an account with administrative privileges.
2. Start ArcGIS Server Manager, and log in using your ArcGIS for Server account.
3. In ArcGIS Server Manager, click the Services tab.
4. Check the check box next to the ESRI_PlaceLabels_World globe service you want to remove.
5. Optionally, pause the service by clicking Pause. After you do this, check the check box again.
6. Click Delete.
