Prerequisites

The following prerequisites must be met before you deploy Data Appliance 5.0 for ArcGIS to your GIS server:

• You must have ArcGIS for Server 10 installed, configured, and running with the latest service packs installed. If ArcGIS for Server 10 is not running or if you have problems with the installation, see ArcGIS Server 10 .NET or Java Help.
• You must have ArcGIS for Server 10 SP3 installed, configured, and running for the locators to work correctly.
  Note:

  You need an optional license to use the European Address Locator (TA_Address_EU) and North American Address Locator (TA_Address_NA_10) included with the Basemap Collection 5.0.

  A license is not needed to use the World Places Locator (ESRI_Places World) included with the World Collection 5.0.
