What's new in the World Imagery Collection

The Data Appliance World Imagery Collection 5.0 for ArcGIS has the following improvements and enhancements:

Updated data

• The World Imagery service includes updated high resolution imagery for the United States with more recent imagery for several states and metropolitan areas. The updated areas are shown in the image below. Detailed information for these updates is available in the World Imagery service description and in the associated metadata layer that is provided with your source documents. The updates for North America include the following:
  • Updated Nationwide Prime Imagery for the United States including the latest Aerials Express and NAIP imagery
  • New imagery for Alaska, updated imagery for New York and Virginia, and improved imagery for Banff, Alberta, Canada, acquired from the GIS community through the Community Maps Program
