Deleting log files
When implementing the Nautical Solution in an organization, there are several ways to maintain your system so that performance is not degraded over time.
Many nautical processes generate log files. After time, your operating system folders can be filled with old log files that you no longer need and can delete.
The following is a list of log files and the location where they are stored:
- Update Primitives
- On Windows XP, log files are written to <Installation location>\Documents and Settings\<User Login>\Application Data\ESRI\Production10.0\Nautical\LogFiles\UpdatePrimitives.
- On Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008, log files are written to <Installation location>\Users\<UserLogin>\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\Production10.0\NAUTICAL\LogFiles\UpdatePrimitives.
