Flashing the map sheet area of interest
This function flashes the area of interest feature used to define the selected map sheet. The area of interest feature will be flashed without the calculated extent from the data frame manager, so it will flash the extent of the feature only. This will leave a black outline around the flashed extent. This is intentional so that you can see the extent after the flash. The line will disappear if you refresh your view.
