Customizing MapTips for event editing

When you edit events in Production Mapping, MapTips appear to show you the measure value as you move or modify a linear or point event. By default, one significant digit is shown in a MapTip, but you can choose to display up to five.

Schritte:
  1. Start ArcMap.
    TippTipp:

    If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Production > Production Properties.

    The Production Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click Editing on the left side of the dialog box.

  4. In the Linear Referencing area, type or choose a value in the Number of significant digits in measure tip box.

    The default value is 1, but you can choose to display up to five significant digits.

  5. Click OK.
