Adding a bridge to a road feature
Dieses Thema gilt nur für ArcEditor und ArcInfo.
During the feature collection process, you might need to create bridges on roads to represent overpasses or other bridge structures. The Make Bridge tool allows you to create a bridge directly over a single road feature, then transfers the attributes of the road feature to the bridge. The attributes that are transferred are the Existence Category (EXS), Name (NAM), and Minimum Traveled Way Width (WD1). The Length/Diameter (LEN_, LGN, LEN) attribute is populated based on the length of the feature extracted.
The road feature will have the following fields populated:
- Location Category (LOC)
- Road Surface Type (RST)
- Weather Type Category (WTC)
You can choose which feature class to use as the target layer for bridges on the Defense Mapping Properties dialog box on the Feature Classes tab. Any feature class loaded in the map can be selected, but it is recommended that BridgeL be used.
