Inserting a distance value adjacent to the runway
You can add a tray value adjacent to the runway, between the last vertical and the runway feature, whether the tray value is drawn to scale or not. If you want to update a profile view tray element with distance values, Distance Value Style must have been chosen in the profile settings. If the profile view was not created with distance values, you will need to delete the existing profile view and create a new one with the distance values.
- Start ArcMap.Tipp:
If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.
- On the main menu, click View > Layout View.
- On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aeronautical Terminal Procedures.
- Click the Edit Instrument Approach Profile button on the Aeronautical Terminal Procedures toolbar.
-
Right-click the runway and choose Add/Split Tray value.
The Add/Spilt Tray dialog box appears.
- Type the tray value distance you want in the New Tray Value text box.
- Click OK.
The new tray value is inserted between the runway and the last vertical in the procedure.
