Copying masking rules

Masking rules for one type of aeronautical chart, for example, Enroute charts, are similar to those needed for other types of aeronautical charts. To reduce the level of effort to create the same masking rules for multiple product class versions, it is possible to copy masking rules from one product class version to another product class version using the Masking Rule Manager tool.

Schritte:
  1. Start ArcMap.
    TippTipp:

If the ArcMap - Getting Started dialog box appears, you can open a new or existing map document. You can also check the Do not show this dialog box in the future check box and click Open.

  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aeronautical Data Management.
  3. Click the Masking Rule Manager button Masking Rule Manager on the Aeronautical Data Management toolbar.

The Masking Rule Manager dialog box appears.
