Task Assistant workflow nodes
Task assistant workflows can be composed of the following types of nodes or steps:
- Root—Root nodes are added using the New Workflow button . These nodes are the highest-level containers for tasks and typically do not execute any process.
- Parent—Parent nodes are added using the New Step button . These nodes are containers of tasks within a task assistant workflow. Parent nodes typically do not execute any process. A parent node is usually created by demoting the steps beneath it to make the steps subordinate.
- Task—Task nodes are added using the New Step button . These nodes are the leaf level steps within the workflow and can be contained by a root or parent node. A node added using the New Step button is added as a task node by default.
Hinweis:
For ease of use, it is recommended that workflow and parent nodes not be configured to execute a process because they can be expanded without executing.
New steps can be added directly beneath a currently highlighted node or as the last step of a highlighted workflow node. Steps can be promoted, demoted, moved up, or moved down in the Task Assistant window.
