Opening an existing task assistant workflow in Task Assistant
Existing task assistant workflows can be opened and viewed in the Task Assistant window. A task assistant workflow is stored as an XML file. You can opt to open multiple task assistant workflows at one time. This would be helpful if the task assistant workflow did not launch automatically, or an update has been made and you want to compare workflows side-by-side.
-
To open a task assistant workflow, click the Open Workflow button on the Task Assistant toolbar.
The Open Workflow dialog box appears.
- Navigate to the location of the workflow you want to open.
- Click to highlight the workflow.
-
Click Open.
The selected task assistant workflow displays in the Task Assistant window, and all custom styles associated with the workflow's style file are also loaded.
If a task assistant workflow is already loaded in the Task Assistant window, opening another workflow appends the newly opened task assistant workflow to the workflow currently displayed in the Task Assistant window. If you do not want to append a task assistant workflow, you must first close all task assistant workflows by choosing Close All Workflows from the Task Assistant window shortcut menu prior to opening a new task assistant workflow. You can also choose to only close a specific task assistant workflow by right-clicking the specific task assistant workflow to close and choosing Close Workflow.
You can also open a task assistant workflow by right-clicking in the Task Assistant window and choosing Open Workflow.
