Editing data

The .NET software development kit (SDK) provides developers with the following ways to edit data and customize the editing environment:

ArcGIS Desktop editing for developers—Contains topics for developers creating editing customizations for the desktop environment, such as ArcMap.
ArcGIS Engine editing—Contains topics for developers creating editing customizations in stand-alone ArcGIS Engine applications.
Editing data with geoprocessing tools—Contains topics for developers who want to use geoprocessing tools to edit data.
Editing with the geodatabase API—Contains topics for developers who need to perform edits within the geodatabase without a graphical user interface (GUI).
