Saving an image service in AutoCAD

The ArcGIS Image Server AutoCAD client application allows you to save an image service as an image service reference file (.ISRef). This .ISRef file can be used to save any changes you made to the service properties of the image service. To learn about changing image service properties, see About working with image services in AutoCAD. You can use this .ISRef file in most client applications to reestablish the image service.

You can also save the displayed image service data. To learn more, see Exporting image services in AutoCAD.

Steps:
  1. Add an image service in AutoCAD.
  2. Click the Image Service Manager button Image Service Manager button on the Image Server toolbar to display the Image Service Manager dialog box.
  3. Click the Set Service Properties button Set Service Properties to display the Service Properties dialog box.
  4. Click the Save As button.
  5. Type a name for the .ISRef file on the Save As dialog box.
  6. Click Save.
