ACS, from the Census Bureau, is designed to provide data that is more frequently updated than what is provided by the decennial census. Each ACS data variable will be reported with a Margin of Error and represents a five-year average for small levels of geography such as block groups.

The Business Locations point-level database provides business data by SIC and NAICS industry classifications along with Dun & Bradstreet's proprietary six-digit SIC and eight-digit NAICS industry codes.
