Tapestry Segmentation

Esri's Tapestry Segmentation system classifies U.S. residential neighborhoods into 65 unique market segments based on socioeconomic and demographic characteristics. Tapestry Segmentation combines the traditional statisitical methodologu of cluster analysis with Esri's latest data mining techniques to provide a robust and compelling segmentation of U.S. neighborhoods. The 65 market segments are combined to identify 12 Lifemode Summary Groups based on lifestyle and lifestage and 11 Urbanization Summary Groups based on geographic features and income.
