ArcGIS Mobile system requirements
The following is a list of system requirements for ArcGIS Mobile 10:
Supported operating system

Microsoft .NET Framework required
The ArcGIS Mobile setup requires Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5 SP1. If .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is not detected on your machine, the setup will not proceed.
Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1 requirement
The ArcGIS Mobile SDK feature of the ArcGIS Mobile setup requires Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1. If Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1 is not detected on your machine, the ArcGIS Mobile SDK feature will not be available for installation.
Note:When using the ArcGIS Mobile SDK to build applications for Windows, .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is required on the machine the solution will be deployed to. If you are building applications for Windows Mobile, .NET Compact Framework 2.0 SP2 is required on the mobile device.
