Adding columns to interactive tables

The Add > Columns option allows you to add more than one column at a time.

Steps:
  1. Verify that you are in layout view if necessary.
  2. Right-click the graphic table element and click Properties.

    The Table Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click the Table Format tab if necessary.

    The Table Format dialog box appears.

  4. Click Table Design.

    A Table Design dialog box appears, depending on the table format.

  5. Click a cell in the Table Layout area.
  6. Click Table Layout > Add > Columns.
    TipTip:

    You can also right-click a cell in the Table Layout area and click Add > Columns.

  7. Type the number of columns to add in the Count text box.
  8. Click OK.
