Viewing cartographic exception statistics

This topic applies to ArcInfo only.

The Cartographic Exceptions Statistics tool displays the status of the cartographic features according to the Product Library Workspace, Production Database Workspace, and Instances Maintained settings in the Production Properties dialog box.

Statistics are generated for the exceptions stored in the selected production database.

Steps:
  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. Ensure that the correct product library and production database are set in the Data Management pane on the Production Properties dialog box.
  3. Ensure that your chart's data frame is set to the appropriate instance by right-clicking the data frame, selecting Properties, and clicking the Product Library tab.

  4. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aeronautical Data Management.
  5. Click the Cartographic Exceptions Statistics button Cartographic Exceptions Statistics on the Aeronautical Data Management toolbar.

    The Carto Exceptions Report dialog box appears.

  6. Click an option to display statistics:
    • Current instance—Displays statistics for the current chart
    • All instances—Displays statistics for all the charts in the geodatabase
  7. To save a statistics report to a text file, click Save.
  8. Click OK to close the dialog box.
