Editing graphics allows you to change the way the existing graphics appear. This includes changing a graphic's location. To invoke the Properties dialog box a graphic must first be selected in order to edit.

Steps:
  1. Click the Select Graphics Select Graphics tool on the 3D Graphics toolbar in ArcGlobe or ArcScene.
  2. Click the graphic element you want to change.
  3. Right-click the graphic element and click Properties.
  4. The Properties dialog box appears. You can also open the respective Properties dialog box from buttons on the 3D Graphics toolbar.
  5. Click the Size and Position tab and change the position X, Y, Z values to adjust the location of the graphic's anchor point.
  6. Click OK.
  7. The selected graphic moves to the new location.

NoteNote:
  • If the Select Graphics tool is disabled, then there are no graphic elements in the active graphics layer. See Setting the target layer of new graphics for information on changing the active graphics layer.
  • Two-dimensional graphics that are pasted from ArcMap will have z-values of 0, which may be under the surface of the 3D view. You can use the Size and Position properties page for 2D graphics in ArcGlobe or ArcScene and set the z-values.
