Zooming to the extent of a layer

Steps:

1. Right-click the layer or layers to which you want to zoom and click Zoom To Layer.

Tip:

1. You can also hold down the ALT key and click the name of a layer in the table of contents to zoom to the extent of that layer.
2. If your map has more than one data frame, panning and zooming will occur in the active data frame. In layout view, clicking a data frame will activate it.
3. To select a layer in the table of contents, click it. Hold down the SHIFT or CTRL key to select multiple layers.
