How to control the appearance of the table of contents

Steps:

1. Click the Tools menu and click Options.
2. Click the Appearance tab.
3. Use the table of contents settings to control table of contents scrolling and symbol patch sizes.
4. Click OK.

   Note:

   This setting does not apply to published maps that contain 3D globe content.
