Selecting rasters by attribute

LegacyLegacy:

ArcGIS 10 is the last release of the stand-alone ArcGIS Image Server product. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model—the mosaic dataset—which can be published as an image service using the ArcGIS Server Image extension.

Steps:
  1. Right-click the Footprint layer in the table of contents and click Select > By Attribute.

The Select By Attributes dialog box is displayed.

  2. Type the pertinent information into the fields on the Select By Attributes dialog box.
  3. Click the Verify button to see if you are using proper syntax or if the criteria you've entered will select any features.
  4. Click Apply.

The status bar at the bottom of the ArcMap window tells you how many features are selected.

  5. Optionally, use the Clear button to empty the expression box.
  6. Optionally, use the Save and Load buttons, respectively, to save your current query as a file or load an existing one.
  7. Click Close when you are finished selecting features.

The selected rasters are highlighted in the display view.
