Removing derived rasters

LegacyLegacy:

ArcGIS 10 is the last release of the stand-alone ArcGIS Image Server product. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model—the mosaic dataset—which can be published as an image service using the ArcGIS Server Image extension.

You can build a derived raster for all the raster datasets in the image service or only for a selection; therefore, you can remove them for one or more or all the raster datasets. To remove all the derived rasters, go to step 2. To remove the derived rasters for one or more raster datasets you select, go to step 1.

Steps:
  1. Open the service table and select the derived raster that you want to remove.
  2. Click the Image Service drop-down menu on the Image Service Editor toolbar and click Advanced > Optimize > Derived Rasters > Remove.
