Using the Data Interoperability extension with ArcGIS Server

Publishing direct-read data sources and Interoperability Connections

You can publish direct-read data sources and Interoperability Connections with map services. Use the Uniform Naming Convention (UNC) for all path names and store the data in folders that are shared to anyone accessing them. UNC path names use the form \\computername\sharedfolder\resource.

Publishing Quick Import and Quick Export tools

You can publish Quick Import and Quick Export tools with geoprocessing services. First, add them to a model, then publish the toolbox as a geoprocessing service.

Publishing Spatial ETL tools

You can publish spatial ETL tools as a geoprocessing service. During execution, a spatial ETL tool generates .log and .fme files in the Data Interoperability logs folder. To enable a Spatial ETL tool to function properly as a geoprocessing service you must grant the ArcGIS server object container (SOC) account full access to this folder.
