Orienting line labels to graticules

Steps:

1. Click the Label Manager button on the Labeling toolbar.
2. Check the check box next to the layer you want to label.
3. Choose a label class under the layer.
4. Click the Properties button.
5. Click the Label Position tab.
6. Click the Orientation button.
7. Check the Align horizontal labels to graticule check box.

   If the data is not in projected coordinates, the labels will not align. They will remain in their original position.

8. Click the Graticule alignment type drop-down arrow and choose a graticule alignment type.
9. Click OK to close all dialog boxes.
