Changing the source data of a graph

Once a graph has been created, you can change the source data to a different dataset.

Steps:
  1. Right-click the graph window and click Properties.
  2. Click the Series tab.

    Be sure to have the correct Series tab active when making changes.

  3. Click the Layer/Table drop-down arrow and choose the dataset to use.

  4. Click the Value field drop-down arrow and choose the field to use.

    The label for the value field will vary depending on the type of graph. For vertical line or scatterplot graphs, it will be Y field, and for horizontal line graphs, it will be X field.

  5. Click Apply to review and OK when done.
